More than 4,000 spots have already been filled for the FFA Rally to Fight Hunger. Thank you to all of those who have already registered. The Rally will be a highlight of the 85th National FFA Convention & Expo, as members, advisors, alumni and guests will package one million meals October 24-26 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The FFA Rally to Fight Hunger is a convention-wide service event, to help feed children and adults suffering from food insecurity. This event is being launched as part of the organization’s Feeding the World–Starting at Home initiative. The Rally will engage up to 10,000 members, advisors, sponsors, local volunteers, and stakeholders from across the country, so there are still plenty of opportunities for you to register.
We invite you to sign up for at least one shift of the FFA Rally to Fight Hunger and show your commitment to “living to serve”, a principle of the FFA Motto. Hunger is a real issue around the world as more than 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes every day.
Working with Kids Against Hunger, a humanitarian food-aid organization, one million meals will be packaged to help people dealing with food insecurity. Half of the meals will remain in Indianapolis and surrounding areas, as a way of thanking the city for hosting the national FFA convention for the past seven years. The meals will be distributed through Gleaners Food Bank. The other half of the meals will be sent to Haiti, which is still recovering from the devastation of the 2010 earthquake.
Register to work a Rally shift as part of Convention Registration. To learn more about the Rally, please visit www.FFA.org/Rally.
The FFA Rally to Fight Hunger is sponsored by Farmers Feeding the World, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Dow AgroSciences, Elanco, Tyson, Hormel, Monsanto, Land O’Lakes, American Family Insurance, ADM and Cargill as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.

We are thrilled that so many people have already volunteered for the Rally to Fight Hunger. There’s still plenty of time to register and join fellow FFA members and advisors in this important effort.
